This may be more appropriate for a Monday when you desperately need your caffeine fix, but I do Fun Video Friday, not Fun Video Monday. Do you prefer coffee or tea? I’d love to know why. Mention it in the comments!
See you next time!

As part of the web re-branding/re-invigoration I reviewed the analytics for The Super Blog and for the YouTube channels and… well, frankly, I was very surprised.
Turns out that there were a lot more of you that have been watching our little experiments than I thought!
It certainly wasn’t Gangam Style numbers, but it was significantly better than I thought. Numbers good enough to warrant doing more, and getting a fire under my ass to finish the sketches that we shot actually edited and up.
So, to help smooth the transition, I’ll be posting some of the audience favorites over the next few weeks as we get the new material ready for release.
They’ll be released on the FAN PAGE and if you want you can subscribe to WIGGY WEBS and get new videos as they are released.
See you next time!
Rene and I have been making some changes over in our neck of the woods. Career changes, home changes, business changes – really the only things not changing are the animals.

Now there are other changes that are coming – new websites (I know I’ve been promising this for a while, now there will be a few more), new videos, all kinds of new things – but I’m also restructuring how some of the old social networking works.
Starting today, because a random Thursday is as good a day to do something as any other day, I’m going to start separating out what goes on which Facebook page. My personal Facebook page is going to get a lot more private, just family and actual friends. The Fan Page is going to start getting exclusive content – all the acting and production stuff.
So if you want a show schedule? It will be there.
Want to see pictures from the bobble head video I just shot? They’ll be there.
Want to latest updates about The Pom Pom Massacre or other production bits? Well, you should actually visit those pages, but the information will also be posted on the fan page.
I’ve tried this before, some of you may remember it, but I didn’t have any content to maintain it. Based on current events, content should no longer be an issue (Yay!).
See you next time!

Labor Day Weekend was phenomenal and Rene and I kept very busy – so busy, in fact, that we neglected almost all of our social networks! Well, I did at least. Rene was a bit better about it. If you’ve visited her Twitter feed then you pretty much know all that has happened this weekend.
All that aside, there are shows coming up and what good is a blog if not for shameless self-promotion?
I’ll be doing Improv Shmimprov during September, but will be taking a bit of a hiatus for the rest of the year, so these next few shows will be your last chance to see me until 2013, assuming we all survive the coming zombie apocalypse that the Mayans predicted in 1984 with the coming of Nimbutu the 10th shadow planet.

The proposed bills in Congress known as SOPA and PIPA are a big deal and so are the issues they claim to deal with.
Piracy is a big deal, Wiggy VonSchtick has been a victim, but the internet isn’t going anywhere and people’s abilities to acquire whatever they want whenever they want is only going to get easier even if these bills pass.
Nanny laws only hurt people who follow the law, criminals just find a way around them.
These are complex problems that require big ideas, not censorship.
New, young entertainment business minds are already thinking of ways to curtail piracy and it’s working. Look at Louis C.K. He managed to shoot and release a downloadable comedy show and made profits that he couldn’t imagine.
Make no mistake, this is about money and how large studios make it – not about the viewer or the art of entertainment and all of that is fine! It’s required to make the big kinds of movies that people love to go see, but these pieces of legislation are not the ways to make entertainment profitable in the future. I know that the big studios are using scare tactics to try and force creatives to their side, but these bills shoot a creative’s future in the foot.

The new Story time with Ray is up! And to keep with the family friendly theme that he’s been on this week’s discussion is all about toilet paper and pooping.
See you tomorrow!

The nice thing about it being the beginning of the year is that I’m really motivated to be on top of things and make sure that all the schedules happen on time.
I think you’ll notice that from the pattern visible in this blog: I always start off the year strong with posts and then, pffffff, it putters out.
In keeping with this pattern we are also keeping up with the wiggyWebs schedule – although that’s mostly due to some changes that we’re making to the number of videos we’ll be posting a week…
…but I’ll tell you about that when I have a video to post (probably Friday).
In the meantime here’s a new Story time with Ray:
See you tomorrow!

I said in the last post that I would mention in a separate post what I’ve been doing that has taken up all my time.
This is that post.
First off, “Earthlings Beware!” is a play that Rene and I are doing together at The Costa Mesa Playhouse. It plays Fridays through Sundays until November 20th. It is family friendly, funny and fun! It’s a send-up of 50’s Sci-Fi movies and does a great job of recreating that kitchy magic on a single stage. Rene and I made a video:
In video news Wiggy Webs has been posting regularly! Here are the videos you may have missed:
Also, movie stuff has been going forward at a hurried pace. Cheerleaders is casting and we are setting up meetings with talent. There’s also a pretty significant change coming to the film that I can’t technically announce yet, but I’ll give you a hint – there’s a reason we’ve only been referring to it by nicknames and as “Cheerleaders” for a while. There’s a new website on it’s way and some other new stuff. In the meantime go “Like” us on Facebook.
The documentary is wrapping up and with the workload growing on that it is very possible that there may be another drought of posts for a while – but I’m trying to manage that.
This may all seem like shameless self-promotion, and it kind of is, but this is truly all that I have been doing for the last few weeks.
Oh, and the cat needed surgery. Hurt his foot. Got worked on. He wears a cone now. The nightmare and hilarity that has been our cat in his cone of shame is documented better on Rene’s Twitter Feed
OK, I think that it.
See you tomorrow!
OK comics fans, it’s the battle royal! The subject of decades of debate! The reason for multiple super team ciphers at both DC and Marvel! The basis for at least one good mini-series!

After months of commentary on Dr. Seuss and his book about the alphabet we have reached the end – Y & Z has been released today and here it is:
I think you can tell that Ray is tired of doing the alphabet. It looks like viewers were too since we’ve seen a bit of a decline in views in the latter half of the alphabet. I can say that we have shot a series of new rants that are WONDERFUL! I’m really looking forward to posting those. If you are a fan of older men getting all cantankerous and grumpy then you’re going to love the new episodes. And if you have stuck through the alphabet I think you’re going to love the new stuff even more!
Now I need to go and study a script, write a script and make sure that funds are moving in my direction.
See you tomorrow!
