For Project 365 – 2010 there are days when I get up and I have a good idea about what I want to take a picture of during the day. Today was one of those days. Most of my time is spent in front of a computer, with an ear piece in my ear, on the phone, answering emails or reading. It’s not very exciting or interesting. I’ll even take a picture of it tomorrow and possibly use it just so you can see how dull it is. Knowing that my Thursday was going to be spent frantically calling agencies, financier people and rental companies looking for a light kit I made a plan in my head to get a picture of me and the students being shot for a sizzle reel that the school owner is doing.
I had it all thought out! We’ll have someone at one end of the room so that the frame catches me and the kids (I call them “kids” but the Thursday class is almost all adults) with the cameras on the other end. Then, just to have options, we’ll get another one for a shot we did in Helen’s office. I even made sure that I had my camera packed up and ready to go!
I’m sure you see where this is going. I totally forgot. The shoot went really well, we got some really good stuff, but I totally forgot to get my camera out. This is why you need an on-set photographer.
So today’s picture is this:
My finished laundry. It’s the only accomplishment that I had a visual record of by the end of the day. Good batch of laundry, though. Fluffy socks.
See you tomorrow!
